Berkshire East is full of New England ski and riding charm. Locals enjoy this area because crowds are elsewhere while snow conditions can be "knarley" - dude! You will find 45 runs for ski or riding on more than 100 acres. The resort has a vertical of 1,180 feet, and five lifts that include a quad, a triple, two doubles and one surface lift. For riders, there is a terrain park and halfpipe. The resort has invested in a significant snowmaking upgrade for the 2005/06 season.
No onsite lodging is available but there are bed & breakfasts, hotels, and motels all located in Charlemont and Shelburne Falls.
Local restaurants, lounges, and shopping. Two lodges, PSIA ski school, National Ski Patrol, snowboard rentals, and special events all season long. One-hundred percent snowmaking.
Night skiing, tree skiing, halfpipe, and racing programs.
Snowboarding is allowed including halfpipe, terrain park, and jumps all set up during the season.
