Beez Neez

Thursday 24th July 2008: Skiing today at Perisher on a now 121cm dry base under cool still bluebird skies was definitely the Beez Neez. Liftlines were short, spirits were bubbly and it was a great day to be in the Snowies. Cold temps early meant lots of snowguns pumping when the

Mt.Perisher-perfect perfect right until 12pm!(when the wind really picked up and they put the double chair on hold).Lots of freshies, untracked trails, off piste with powder and natural cliffs/jumps and no people tracking it!Crowds definitely smaller than last weekend and the snow conditions were truly enjoyable.Great time to go as everyone is talking another big dump...

A truly enjoyable weekend in the mountains. Every type of weather and some great turns to be had. Last weeks snow helped the resort open up a lot more terrain and people where smiling all over the place.
School holiday crowds have been spread out and there's been literally something for everyone. Hope to see you out there.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh that beer went down well. What an epic day. Windblown powder everywhere.

Snow kept falling all day and the wind didn't easy up much which forced some lifts onto wind hold (Mt P double and the Perisher quad) which was a shame. So headed up to Blue Cow.

Ridge was closed early but Guthega was epic with windblown everywhere. Rock Garden was great as well.

Its still snowing

Great day to get out and play in the snow. Bit cloudy this morning but it cleared as the day went on. Pretty Valley opened up and there was plenty of powder to be found if you knew where to look.

Didn't get over to Blue Cow as there was more than enough to play in amongst the trees at Perisher.

Snowguns just kept going and going as well. Snow is dry and it really only needs a top up from here to really start kicking. Hopefully that is only a day away.
