5° Sunny
Today is another perfect bluebird day, get up here. Currently it is 5 degrees still calm conditions and unlimited viz. The forecast has a breath of wind coming from the SW and a whole heap of sun, so make sure you have your sunnies and plenty of block.

The road is Open today, all vehicles are to CARRY chains, as we are in an alpine environment and you may need to use chains on the downward journey. There are still a couple of slick patch’s on the lower section of the road so please drive with care and obey all road signage and directions from staff. Take care on the valley road as there may be ice entering and exiting the fords, also there is a shuttle service operating from the bottom car park for those without chains or not wishing to drive up the mountain.
