Was on Baw Baw Sunday 20th through Wed 23rd this week

Sunday was wet, with snow flurries breaking through - got a few runs in on Champagne / Hut later in the day, was pretty good, although a few gaps - more snow would be needed

Monday - rain and snow all night - snow was really heavy - too heavy for a once a year skiier although with 30 years of Skiing experience. Caught edges all day, banged up the back of the head a couple of times as the ski dug in. Loads of cover though - Hut Run best - Champagne and Slalom too heavy - Summit too windy.

Tuesday - best ever day of all time at Baw Baw - nobody there - snow was perfect, boot deep, with softly falling snow on and off all day. Champagne, Slalom and in the trees all great. Summit was great, bit icy at the top - Hut Run still good - snuck a couple of runs on Maltese, although closed - fantastic on virgin up to knee deep light snow - needs to open soon

Wednesday - sun came out, although really cold so surface stayed dry all day - left side of the summit down Painted was great - Painted Tow still closed through.

Champagne and Slalom still great

Kids had a great time , really sorted out their skills, and are now getting down Slalom and Champagne quicker than me.

Great Time

Summit was a little thin in many area's, shrubs poking through just before the lift trail crossover, and a few rocks exposed on the lift trail itself. Champagne, Hut & Tank had awesome cover, Maltese run was closed, Playground needs at least another 30cm before anyone would bother heading that way. Plenty of untracked in the trees between Slam Dunk and Champagne, Old Hut and Slalom were also pretty much untracked.
