Third time lucky, I hope, of getting a blog uploaded. The video (Skiing sepia Snow) in VIDEOS and photos in PHOTOS  tell today's story. The snow was about what you'd expect, soft and slow from the get go, softer and slower in sun-facing areas. Strong winds meant chairs apart from the V8 on wind hold.By 10am we'd lost interest in a deserted Mt P and headed back to a busy Front Valley and very busy concourse.I was pretty confident today would be my last ski for 2008 and had Adi trick up my now three year old skis in preparation for a Northern Hemisphere ...

Wow what a couple of days. Sort of forgot about writing the odd report here because I have been out skiing so much!

After the snow a couple of days ago it was epic yesterday. Even Tuesday was sensational although a bit windy (kept the punters away!). Yesterday returned to bluebird conditions and with the fresh 20cm around there was still freshies all round if you knew where to look. The cover was starting to slide a bit and will continue to do so but the 20 cm that we got certainly helped cover some holes and extend the season a lot more.

Lower slopes were definitely thinning badly and I am guessing the rain hammered those (not that I went out in it!) and the snow repaired much of that but it will be short term.

Get out now before it drops off too badly - although there may be more snow early next week ...

Bluebird sky, slightly icy in the morning. Hardpack in most places. Slightly slushy in the afternoon in the usual places down low, the rest of the resort stayed nice though. (comments for the 24th)

That was awesome. No other words for it. Day of the season (to date hopefully), crowds were down being a Monday and the powder was magic. Spent all morning out of Eyre and International and there were freshies to be found till late morning if you knew where to look.

Snow is light and dry and as good as it gets in Australia and the sun was on and off all morning making visibility fine and conditions perfect. Honestly doesn't get any better in Australia.

Another great day today. Bit of snow overnight and cold temps have kept the snow in great condition. Mainly overcast today and the resort was fairly quiet. Mt P was great this morning, cover is great and the snow is soft. Groomers were excellent. Off piste needs a freshen up which it might get in the next few days but it is still OK.

Headed over to interceptor late morning and then over to the Ridge which was epic. Groomers are really awesome at the moment.
