Good one!All over for me for this season - 23 days; 51 if I count St Anton. Been an awesome season in both hemispheres. Skied some great lines, saw some really beautiful sights, and learned a lot. Did not lose a single day to wind-hold or rain, which must be a first. Going back up at the end of Oct for a working party. Wonder how much snow will be left. Once it starts going, it usually disappears pretty quickly. |

just spent 2 awsome days at fallsthe cover was great spring snow apart from the dust and had a ball with my youngest daughter. stayed at attunga, whilst the room was small it was clean, cannot say the same for the pool and spa, it was green and cloudy and the smell permiated the whole lodge but i assume this is normal as it was open for anyone brave enough to get wet back to apartment accom next year didnt notice any tele skiers though |

What a season!I thought given the report this am that the cover would be good for a few telemark runs early and then when it turned to shite I'd head BC. On Sun Valley side the snow held up really well so I got three hours in and decided to call it a day. Bumped into Currawong and +1 and we did a few runs together Saw 5 other tele-turners on the mountain and had a yarn with one on RC lift. Fingers crossed for Sunday! |

I won't be there tomorrow (work is the curse of the skiing classes) but +1 might be. If there is a freeze on Tue night, I'm good chance for Wed.

Did Sundown upper to RC at about 11 to see what off-piste might be at those alts for some outbounds later. Still surprisingly firm but it's only one sample of course.Sorry I missed you. Looks like a freeze again tonight. Will head up again in the morning for some more tele practice. (As an aside, there weren't many punters out there this morning. Can't figure it. First day of the school hols.). |

Sunday's hairdryer finished Inter and stuffed skiers' right of summit (The Knolls/Oest Wand). Inter lift is now closed. No more grooming on skiers' right of summit. The Slot was great till about 10am. Apres Vous & Village lasted a bit longer before starting to turn to porridge. By the time we got to Scotts & Ruined they were getting cut up & soft too. Maybe we should have gone looking for Ziggy at Towers, but we packed it in about 11am. great couple of hours for post-equinox skiing. hopefully the next couple of days will be similar. I haven't hit any rocks yet - great cover on The Slot, Apres Vous, Village, Scotties, Scotts Race Course, Ruined Castle and days end/broadway. Off-piste there are some ditches and holes, but I've been lucky not to find any hazards on-piste. |

Yeah, the cover is still good. Some holes opening up on SV side. And one unmarked rock this morning. Now you really shouldn't mention what you don't want to happen! Thurs is looking ugly for cover Great season for me too. The Hero Pass made a lot of diff. I spend most of my hours outbounds but the luxury of lifted tele practice for a few hours at an affordable price will bring me back next year. |

I battled through a horrendous hangover yesterday to get my last turns in for the season. Having not been up in three weeks I was really surprised just how much snow was still around.Baring torrential rain later this week I really think they could easily keep it open for an extra week and cash in on the school holiday crowds. On a side note, have had a great season, easily my best in terms of quantity and quality of skiing! Hero Pass '13 paid, bring on 2013!!! |

Froze o/n and there was a cold wind this morning so conditions on the south side started fast and didn't start to mound up til around noon. Main St and H/way 83 made for great skiing for a couple of hours for this intermediate telemarker.

Semi-freeze on Friday night meant that there was good skiing early on Saturday. Village & Summit cut up & softened by 9:30. Scott's & Ruined were good for another hour or so, then the off-piste was fun. Fences have now gone from vertigo valley and there were some nice lines there. SES bbq at the FC Hotel was a great way to spend the afternoon.Quite warm overnight so didn't bother this morning. Low temps forecast for the next few nights so we should get some good freezes. There is heaps of cover on summit and over the back and on home trails. I assume wombats still has heaps but haven't been there myself to say for sure. |

Yup, that is what it means. You unload and then return the car to the night carpark. Do not be tempted to leave it in the village... you will get fined.

good, thanks for that UH. I've been checking each day and it always said partial ski in ski out. i'm heading up later today and cleared roads will make it much easier. FC road was pretty much unskiable last Sun pm anyway.just checked the report and it says Clear of snow don't get me wrong, i love snow-covered roads but once it's not skiable you might as well clear them. |

I hear that the village roads have been cleared. Probably a good move. Whilst some sections still had deep snow, eg in front of Attunga, there were also big bare patches, like Koki Corner, in front of Pretty Valley.

Arrived up on Sunday for 3 nights. Surprised with just how good the coverage is on the Summit and International considering the warm days we've had.The snow has been slow and slush as you would expect this time of year. No overnight freezes however, so it's soft first thing. The roads are not ski in ski out, though I havn't ventured around the village so I can't say if they've been cleared yet or not. Its interesting to note how some parts of the village retain a heap of snow whilst others retain none! Weather wise, morning fog yesterday which liften in the afternoon. A sunny morning today, with some weather moving in around noon...we had 2mm of rain just after lunch and it has now cleared up fully. Heaps of snow to last until season end and beyond. |

(the st elmo's area is already ruined by the park.) Really angry about this. Yeah, what a waste. Nobody used the kicker in front of DKs all weekend. I was told it was put up for just a photo shoot. All in all, a great weekend. Saturday was a stunning spring day, while Sunday got quite cloudy. As expected, things got pretty soft by mid-morning, and then it was time to head over to Quartz Ridge and Dark Side. Shame about vertigo!!! Village roads partially covered. I would not be surprised to see them cleared this week, but there is still a lot of snow in places. Virtually the whole mountain was skiable, but I did not check out the Maze, which I suspect would be very, very patchy. Milky Way and the Y's are shot. Inter had a complete cover, except for a patch on the last pitch. |

Love seeing the roll-ons out there on the groomers zipping around, and at Towers bottom my apparently avuncular look often gets me one to shepherd on the chair. Happy to do it.

Vertigo Valley is one of the nicest off-piste areas as the snow softens. What a shame.
