This board is exclusively for Snow Industry businesses and/or organisations wishing to publish commercial notices - Note: Any posts unrelated to snow sport will be consideder spam and deleted immediately without notice.

Talk Snow

A place where those who wish to talk snow can gather without the social noise of Conversation. This is a more serious, no nonsense environment for the genuine discussion of general snow sport issues and interests. This Forum is the incubator of additional topic specific forums. New topics evolve naturally and present themselves when the time comes.

Q&A

This Forum is the most accessible Forum to the public allowing unregistered people to ask questions and/or contribute answers. Its' primary purpose is a "Help Desk" or "Information Kiosk" where people can ask general snow related questions without registration or community commitment. It also serves as a long term repository of questions and the ski.com.au FAQ. Topic specific questions should be directed to the appropriate Forum.

Weather, Travel, Equipment, Backcountry and Competition, Racing & Events

These Forums are for topic specific questions plus mature discussion, dialogue and opinions.

Resorts

Each Australian snow resort has it's own separate forum where you may post the latest snow conditions or contribute to resort specific discussion.

Apres

Conversation:

A place for the community to communicate and where the rules are more relaxed. A purely social space. General snow related conversation is welcome, however specific topic related or general snow sport questions may and will be moved to other Forums at the discretion of the Moderators.

Sports Bar

All sports except snow sport. (This forum introduced by popular demand.)

Tech Heads

This is an IT (Information Technology) zone only. (We don't really know how this came to be on a snow sport site but it's popular and very useful if you have a gadget question!)

Culture Vulture

Arts, politics, religion, theology, sociology and science all get a workout in here. Don the respectible side of your personea and exercise the grey matter.

Arrangements

Arrangements is for announcing details about any social arrangements, share accommodation and car pooling. Initial arrangement suggestions may be seeded in Conversation but will be moved to Arrangements after 15 replies.

Support

The place to get support for the many features of ski.com.au including a specific forum each for Marketplace Classifieds and WikiSki.

Archives

Two forums. One for the archiving of extremely useful discussions and the other for archiving very entertaining ones. There is no public posting in these forums and only Moderators may move threads from other forums to the archives - usually on request.
