Earlier last week it all started for Treble Cone with a nice fall of 30cm but it was this weekend (8/9 September) when 65cm of new snow fell at the top of Home Basin and Saddle Basin.
The ski areas of Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Cardrona have all received up to 20cm and there are snow showers in the forecast today.

In the Mackenzie region (between Queenstown and Christchurch) Ohau was dished up 50cm but unfortunately the mountain is closed today.
The 160cm base at Mt Dobson, also in the Mackenzie, received a top up of 12 cm during the weekend's storm.
"The storm has set up the ski areas with fantastic snow through until their scheduled end of the season, which for most isn't until 7th October", comments Trish May, spokesperson for the Ski TMN.
It is expected another storm to flick through on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
