The average natural snowdepth sits at 136cm and further snow is in the forecast for the weekend followed by a sunny day on Monday (Chuck a snowie anyone!?) and then more snow again through until Thursday. There are currently 11 lifts in operation providing guests with access to extensive terrain for skiing and boarding.
"With mid-week package deals and discounted multiday tickets, plenty of fresh snow on the ground, more on the way, extensive grooming, ongoing snowmaking and a huge weekend of events coming up, there's an incredible vibe up here on the mountain," says Gina Woodward, Hotham Sales and Marketing Manager.
Due to the abundant snowfall and strong value offering, season 2012 has seen Hotham's strongest year-to-date visitation in 10 years, with numbers up 29% on the resort's 10 year visitation average (according to the ARCC Statistic reports).
