July is the coldest month of the winter at alpine resorts such as Falls Creek and as Lee says "The cover (of snow) is sensational and it is a fantastic time to be in the mountains.
"The snow came in waves, it was consistent, and we got more than anticipated in the storm cycle that 'parked' above us. With the fresh snow falling to low levels my operation can now offer access to some of the most challenging snow riding in Australia.
"I am leading skiers and boarders onto the upper half of Mt McKay (1842 metres above sea level), Dam Site and longer runs down to Road 24."
