Sydney, 12 April 2012 - Carlton Dry has begun a nationwide search to find two young Aussies who are up for dropping everything this winter to take up Australia's ultimate snow job, a Carlton Dry Snow Ambassador position in Falls Creek, Victoria.
The Carlton Dry Snow Ambassador positions are not for the faint hearted. To be eligible to apply you must: possess advanced snowboard experience, be up for having a good time, enjoy having a Carlton Dry or two, all while making some new mates along the way.
Kicking off for eleven weeks in the middle of June, the two successful candidates will be responsible for hosting groups of snow goers on the slopes, showing them the ultimate snowboarding experience in Falls Creek this winter. With an attractive remuneration package, free accommodation and time to enjoy some boarding action of their own, there is no better job for boarders to live out their passion and get paid for it.
If that's not enough to whet the palate, the Snow Ambassadors will be working alongside riders from the Carlton Dry sponsored fYVE Snowboarding Team who'll be able to give pro tips and tricks throughout the season.
"We're giving two Aussies the chance to live the dream this winter, getting paid for carving up the slopes and showing snow goers the ultimate experience at Falls Creek," said Andrew Meldrum, general manager of marketing for Carlton Dry at CUB. "The combination of cash, free beer and a roof over their heads is a pretty enticing offer. It's not every day you can find a way to get paid to live the ultimate winter experience."
The job offerings coincide with an exciting winter marketing initiative that Carlton Dry will be announcing in the weeks ahead, as the brand says hello to winter and good times ahead for the 2012 boarding season.
The Carlton Dry Snow Ambassadors positions offer an attractive remuneration package which includes:
• $200 per day plus superannuation (working 4 or 5 days per week)
• Accommodation in Falls Creek, Victoria for 11 weeks
• Complimentary lunch and dinner provided on working days
• Carlton Dry fYVE Snowboarding jacket and pants, plus branded t-shirts and hoodies
• Hire of a fYVE snowboard
• Season lift pass, valued at $1,199
