Great snow (and prices) this week at Falls Creek. Beat the school holiday influx
Falls Creek spokesman Ian Talbot said from July 8 accommodation on the mountain is hard to find due to huge influx of annual school holiday skiers and boarders.
"However there's a window this week, before the major states break for the annual winter holidays, which offers well-priced skiing and boarding on oodles of fresh snow, so why not suggest to dad he 'Chuck a Snowie' and take the family to the snow this week before the alpine resort gets inundated with school-aged snow enthusiasts."
"With fantastic savings on multi-day lift passes this week, there's no excuse not to. Swap the mountain of work for stunning Falls Creek. Ski or board this week for three consecutive days for just $90 per day. There's a child multi three day lift ticket offer that works out around $53 a day."

"Two nights self-cater lodge-style accommodation this week at Viking Lodge costs $216 per adult and $130 for a Child or an apartment for two nights in the heart of Falls Creek (Snow Ski) that's suitable for a family of four costs about $442 a night."
