It started snowing heavily early this morning at Victorian resorts as the cold front hit.

Snowfalls are forecast through until Tuesday with temperatures set to fall down to minus 7 degrees.

The amount of snowfall predicted varies somewhat between the Bureau of Meteorology, Weatherzone and Jane's Weather - but they all agree it will be a significant fall with a range of 20-40cm and will last well into the weekend.
