About Schuss Ski Club

The Club is a non-profit organisation which owns and operates 3 lodges located in the alpine villages of 3 of Australias premier Alpine resorts:

• Mount Buller
• Falls Creek
• Thredbo

Our objectives are to further the sport of skiing and other alpine activities and to make alpine accommodation available at a reasonable cost. To achieve this our lodges provide comfortable, lodge style, self-catering accommodation - not only to our Members but also to the public - at very competitive prices. Our bedrooms all have ensuites and our general facilities are of a very high standard for the price and style of accommodation. Costs are contained by guests sharing cleaning of communal areas and servicing their own rooms during their stay.

The Thredbo Lodge

Schuss Lodge Thredbo is situated at the top of the village on the Alpine Way. The lodge has 31 beds in 2 and 3 bed rooms, including two rooms with a queen-sized bed. The view from the dining area and lounge is a spectacular panorama of the mountains and ski runs.
Thredbo boasts Australias highest lifted point and there are long runs (including Australias longest) of standards to suit all.

Summer Activities

The range of summer activities at Thredbo is legendary and include bush walking, squash, tennis, golf, swimming, bob-sled, trout fishing, canoeing, horse riding, and mountain bike riding. We open our Lodges during the summer holiday period. At other times of the year, outside the winter skiing season, the Lodge is available for group bookings of modest numbers.

Parking

{C}Unload at the door. Parking at the lodge for 7 on a first come, first served basis. Overflow parking in Thredbos free overnight village carpark.
