Bimblegumbie Mountain Lodge

Nestled into the foothills of Mt Crackenback, under a canopy of towering Eucalypt gums you will find your mountain retreat, Bimblegumbie!

Bimblegumbie was established in 1976 and has since been the home for many return guests and weary skiers. Bimblegumbies personal service, relaxed atmosphere and gourmet cuisine makes it a delight to return to and to explore more of this unique hideaway.

At Bimblegumbie we have self contained cottages as well as the Guest House for bed and breakfast. The self contained are called Studio, Little House and the Bungalow.

The superb location means that the SKITUBE is only 5 minutes away, that means you can be enjoying the snow on any of the slopes as Perisher Blue within no time at all. Thredbo Village is only a mere 15 minutes further. Lake Jindabyne is a short drive away, (9 km) yet another place to visit or hit the night life.

Facilities

Bimblegumbie offers 154 mountain acres to bush walk and explore or mountain bike. It has award winning gardens with secret areas and abundant bird life - there is always something to discover. With horse riding next door, trout fishing in the Thredbo River or water sports on Lake Jindabyne, a mere 10 minutes away, Bimblegumbie offers a relaxing atmosphere with peace, tranquility and harmony. There are many and varied collections for the enthusiast. Persian carpets in all areas. We also have an excellent Drying Room. We now have Wireless Internet Service for our guests. There is an extensive library of DVDs and Videos, and books line the shelves in guesthouse and all rooms.

Pet Friendly

Bimblegumbie is Pet Friendly; you are welcome to bring your faithful friend or special pet with you on holidays. Cats are welcome; leads are required for outdoor walking. We have open spaces for them to run around, but, if they are tempted to run away then we do have enclosures for them. Why not try exploring and climbing our 154 acres with them.
