Guests can enjoy a Thai meal in the licensed restaurant, an apres-ski in the bar, relax in the guest lounge or catch the sun on the balcony after a day on the slopes. Alpenhorn's rooms offer a warm and comfortable retreat at the end of the day.
Located in the heart of Thredbo Village, Alpenhorn is only a short walk to the Village Square, shops and facilities.
Our guest lounges offer a place to relax with a book or magazine while the new deck offers the perfect afternoon suntrap overlooking the slopes to relive your latest skiing feats!
There is security ski storage/bike storage and a heated drying room for your ski boots and clothes. To extend your skiing time, luggage storage and guest change facilities are available on your arrival and departure days.
After your days skiing adjourn to Ruby's Bar for a cocktail before going upstairs to dine in The Couloir Restaurant. Our menu and the quality of the food were the talk of the town last season and the same high standards will continue. Alternatively, Ruby's bar provides meals for those wanting something lighter or in a hurry to join in Thredbo's nightlife.
We happily cater for all guests, in a variety of rooms catering for up to five persons. So, whether you are a solo traveler, couple, family or special interest group, we have rooms suitable for you.
Our rooms provide a warm and comfortable retreat at the end of the day. All rooms offer ensuite bathrooms, clock radio, TV, in-house video, bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers.
Family rooms usually comprise a Queen/twin plus full size bunks. If you have a large family we would recommend the family unit with separate bedrooms and lounge, or better still a four bunk room for the kids and a separate room for the parents !
Solo travelers can take advantage of our solo share rooms.
