Guthega Alpine enjoys some of the best scenery in Australia. A traditional mountain inn with character and charm Guthega Alpine is ideally located on Blue Cow Mountain with panoramic views of the Main Range and Guthega Dam.

Guthega Alpine has charm, warmth and it is the perfect base for summer and winter activity within Kosciuszko National Park. Food styles reflect the European heritage at Guthega and feature regional produce and wines.

Being snowbound for the winter the Inn is truly "ski-in and ski-out" only metres from the nearest ski lift for a day of fall-line resort skiing or venturing into the back country.

In summer guests can walk in the glades above the Inn, access the main range via Guthega Dam or the "Illawong" suspension bridge which crosses the Snowy River 2 km upstream of the Inn with trails to Mt Twynam, Blue Lake and beyond.

On-site parking is available in summer.

Mountain bikes and trout fishing tackle are available on site.

Facilities

Guthega Village is small, remote and secluded. Our greatest facilities are a restful environment, charming ambience and personalised service.

Guthega Alpine Inn features large, comfortable rooms with en-suites, central heating and tea/coffee facilities. Meals are served in the dining room and cafe bar which attract visitors for lunch and dinner drawn by food, service and views.

Sauna facilities are available to rest weary muscles after a day in the mountains.

Winter tariffs include oversnow transfer from Guthega car park for arrival and departure. Oversnow transfers can also be arranged to take beginner skiers to Blue Cow ski school.
