The Snowbird Inn, located at the base of the Summit Chair opposite the Snowsports School and Hotham Central, offers true ski in ski out facilities that most just claim.

Whilst the building is older style with modest facilities, the accommodation is clean and comfortable and consists of 25 dormitory style bunkrooms ranging from 4 to 10 share all with their own private ensuite.

Most of the season the lodge becomes a secondary school camp with over 80 secondary groups enjoying the convenience of its fantastic location, terrific meals and value for money accommodation.

Rooms can be booked as a complete room or on a gender multishare basis. These rates start at $115 per person per night and include cooked breakfast and 2 course evening meal (BYO linen - sleeping bag or doona and towel). Full linen can be supplied at a cost of $25 per person per stay.

The bedding configurations differ from room to room and consist of single bunk beds only in some rooms and a combination single bunk beds and trilogy style bunk beds with double bed below and single bunk bed above.

• Colour TV and DVD player. (No Commercial TV available in rooms)
• Central Heating

A service of the bathrooms will be carried out daily at the Snowbird Inn to ensure your standards of cleanliness are met.

The Snowbird facilities include:

• In house guest dining room which serves a hearty 2 course evening meal and fully cooked skiers and boarders breakfasts.
• In-house licensed cafe trading from 10am till 6pm offering a fine selection of reasonably priced local fresh produce including fresh wraps, tasty soups, tempting burgers, spicy curries and melt in your mouth pasta all with tasty salads and hot chips. It overlooks the stunning views of the Mount Hotham summit and beyond all in front of an open fire place.
• House-guest lounge with tea, coffee and snack making facilities, communal fridges, open fire and large screen TV with commercial channels available.
• Fully manned reception area from 8am to 6pm
• Drying room, changeover luggage storage area and toilet/shower facilities for use after checkout.
