Snowbird Inn is the ultimate ski-in ski-out destination located conveniently in the heart of Mt Hotham. Our lodge style accommodation boasts incredible alpine views, cosy lounge areas surrounding fireplaces and best of all is only meters away from the summit chairlift and Hotham Central. Snowbird Inn is value for money snow accommodation at its best.
We offer comfortable and clean accommodation consisting of 28 dormitory style bunkrooms (4 to 8 share) with a variety of bedding configurations. Choose between single bunks or double bunk trilogies; book a private room or share with fellow snow enthusiasts. We cater for families, individuals, couples and school groups, offering the convenience of complete package deals all season round.
The snowbird Inn is the most popular destination for secondary school groups with our winning combination of quality meals, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, economically priced packages and premium location, ensuring over 70 secondary groups return to our lodge year after year.
Accommodation rates start at $130.00 per person per night
Rates from $130.00 per person per night multi-share including cooked breakfast and 2 course evening meal (BYO Linen and towels). Linen can be provided at $25 per person per stay. Accommodation rates apply all season long. For groups of 20 or more generous discounts apply please call us for your personally tailored package.
All enquiries for accommodation will be held for (7) seven days, after this period your booking will automatically expire unless a deposit of 50% of the full total of your booking is received. A confirmation receipt and tax invoice will be remitted for the balance of your accommodation funds and will be required one calendar month prior to arrival date. For bookings made within 30 days of arrival the full amount is due within 7 days. Bookings will be immediately cancelled without notice if no payment is received.
Cheques should be made payable to Snowman Property Management Pty Ltd and sent to PO Box 480 BRIGHT VIC 3741. For direct deposits BSB 063147 and ACC 10328571, please use your surname and booking number as your reference. For credit card payments you can call our office using any of the following credit cards to secure your booking; Visa, MasterCard and Bankcards are accepted. Otherwise you can book online.
If notice of cancellation is received in writing one calendar month or more prior to arrival date, and the Snowbird Inn is able to refill the vacancy created a full refund will be offered. If less than one calendar months notice is given, ALL MONIES PAID ARE FORFEITED unless the Snowbird Inn is able to refill the vacancy. In this situation all monies will be refunded except an administration fee of 10% of the total booking. No other refund will be made except as described below. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended and can protect you against loss of belongings, personal and public liability and against the need to cancel. You can obtain this from your local travel agent or travel insurance provider.
Mount Hotham offers some of the most reliable skiing in Australia, however all skiers know that Mother Nature can be fickle. If, due to lack of snow, there are less than 3 lifts (inclusive of at least 1 lift that services an intermediate trail) operating at Hotham 2 days prior to the check-in date of your snow holiday, you may choose to receive a credit or full refund on all pre-paid accommodation and lift company products. If you decide to wait less than 2 days before your check-in date to see if further lifts open, the credit or refund will be granted based on the number of lifts operational due to lack of snow on the day you request a refund. You may not cancel your holiday on the check-in date. This snow guarantee only applies if a lift cannot be opened due to a lack of snow on the major trail it services. The guarantee does not apply if lifts are on windhold – i.e. not able to be opened due to high winds, low visibility or a combination of these weather elements or undergoing temporary maintenance.
Check-in - Check in time is from 2pm.
Check-out - Strictly 10AM on day of departure. Luggage storage facilities are available along with change rooms and showers. Additional charges of a full nights tariff will be applied for guests who have not vacated by this time.
