Aardvark Alpine Lodge is located just sixty metres to the right of the second from top tower of the Big D chairlift. Aardvark Lodge provides true ski-out and ski-in accommodation.
Since 1981 it has been home to the Aardvark Alpine Club, a nice mixture of skiers, boarders, free-heelers, tourers, chook-footers, bush walkers, twitchers and greenies.
Aardvark Lodge is the highest club lodge in Australia and offers an affordable, relaxed club lodge experience to all guests. One day a week it will be your turn to shovel the snow away from the front door so that we can all get out to ski.
Seven bedrooms over two levels sleep from two to six guests with a mix of double beds and bunks; the total capacity is 28 people. The lodge is well equipped and comfortable, equally well suited to small family groups or larger ones.
Our resident managers during the ski season look forward to welcoming you. Youll need sleeping bags or bedding, food & drink and a towel; leave your hassles down nearer sea level.
