Welcome home

Diana has long been a classic of Australian alpine hospitality. It is our home and this gives it the relaxed and friendly feel that your experience when you arrive. Your stay at with us is about enjoying the alpine experience and we provide this with the inclusion of the casual, fulfilling and impressive meals; the comforts of your own room; and a friendly team to look after you. All you have to do is enjoy your holiday.

Being close to the gateway into Falls Creek, it is not long before you can settle into your accommodation with us. From here, Gully Chairlift, International Poma and a range of runs including the home trails are readily accessible. Our neighbours include some of Falls Creek shops, snowsports rental, and apres-ski venues.

A place to lay your head

Our range of comfortable accommodation offers good value, from our traditional lodge-style to our spacious rooms that we call Family Rooms. All the rooms at Diana have their own facilities including ensuite, television, tea/coffee, fridge and hairdryer. Rooms are given a light service everyday and all linen is supplied. Video players and a range of movies are available for hire for your own private use.

A place to relax

Any lodge would not be complete without the fireplace and ours certainly enhances the cosy charm of our lounge room. It's licensed bar is where everyone congregates to share stories of the day's adventures and enjoy a drink with our complimentary hors d'eourves; or warm up with espresso coffee or hot chocolate (we are told by our younger clientele they are the best on the hill!).

Part of the alpine experience is the outdoor spa which is a great way to relax muscles after a day of snowy escapades. The drying room and equipment storage are located on the ground level ensuring quick access onto the ski trail and a short trip to the Gully and International lifts. In normal winter conditions you can ski back to the lodge door.

A place to meet new friends while you dine

With us dining is a social affair and is an ideal way to make new friends. We always provide a full breakfast is continental buffet and your choice of cooked breakfast. During peak season we provide all meals Sunday to Thursday, which means exceptional value for you. The buffet lunch of soup, salad and sandwiches is worth the trip back for a break from the slopes or we can prepare you a packed lunch to take out on your day's excursion. Each day our chefs prepare for you fresh and interesting choices for the three-course dinner.

A place for children

Children are important to us as our older clientele, they help create an easy-going and fun place. Many of our rooms were designed with families in mind and so we offer special Family Tariffs. Children discounts are always offered depending on ages. Single parents take note!

By the time the children return to the lodge after a full day on the mountain they are ready for an early dinner served about 5.30 pm. They have a two-course fare with their own tastes in mind: such as roasts, lasagne, pasta, pizza, burgers, grilled chicken and desserts of fruit salad, ice cream and puddings. When the adults dine, a staff member entertains the children in the lounge with activities, games and movies. Parents can relax and enjoy "dining out", knowing their children are just downstairs.

Room Configurations

Standard Lodge Rooms

Our traditional Standard Lodge Rooms are simple but cosy and comfortable, enjoying the same facilities as our Family Rooms. They are a perfect choice for those who plan to spend more time outdoors skiing, snowboarding, exploring Falls Creek village and partaking in the social atmosphere of Diana Lodge.

These rooms provide ski and snowboard accommodation for couples, friends and larger groups or families with 3 double or twin rooms, 5 three shares and a double/twin with four bunk beds.

Family Lodge Rooms

At Diana Lodge, we have six warm, comfortable family rooms which enjoy large amounts of sunshine and space. You'll find delightful views of snow gums, mountain ranges and the valley below and overlook Falls Creek�s Gully and International ski lifts.

Our Family Lodge rooms are designed for families of 4 to 5 (hence the name!), with queen size, single and trundle beds and a sofa double bed.
