Chorki Lodge is a beautiful, comfortable alpine chalet which has a range of accommodation facilities suitable for couples, groups of singles and families. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms and one double room has a spa bath. Two family suites have a separate room (for the parents) attached to a bunk room (for the kids).
Guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillow cases and towels- doonas are provided.
Chorki has two comfortable living areas (one a mezzanine) with TV, DVD and Chess table. A communal fully equipped kitchen and a dining area that can seat 20 or more guests. Chorki has an indoor BBQ which is fantastic for guests who love their BBQs even in the winter. No need to venture outside in the cold & snow to cook a lovely steak!!
There are ski storage areas, laundry facilities (free of charge) and a large drying room. There is also a sauna room and the front balcony looks out over the picturesque Kiewa River valley and the distant mountains.
On arrival at the lodge, in winter, guests are able to park on the road directly below the lodge whilst they unload. No oversnow transport (which is quite expensive) is required. Frequently, guests can make use of long term parking areas near the lodge. In the non-winter period, guests can park right at the lodge steps.
The lodge is conveniently located within 50 metres of Falls Creeks major access lift (Falls Creek Express Chairlift) so guests can ski to the lift and the ticket sales area. At the end of the day guests can return via the Wombats Ramble home trail and ski to the lodge door.
Chorki is about a 3 minute walk from the supermarket, and many of the resorts cafes, bars and restaurants are also within easy walking distance. No oversnow transport is required.
Chorki is a communal club lodge with a manager in residence from June - October. Guests are welcome throughout the year and that they will have an enjoyable and relaxing stay in this beautiful mountain resort.
