Alpha Ski Lodge

Alpha Ski Lodge is a totally self catering ski lodge which is ideally located to give you access to all lifts, with door to door skiing for those people who would rather ski than walk.

From its lofty position, there are picturesque views over the village and down the valley. The lodge exudes a warm and friendly atmosphere that has many guests returning year after year.

Sleeping Arrangements

Whether you're a young single or family group, Alpha caters to your every need. The lodge sleeps a total of 35. The room configurations are as follows:

• 6x four share bunk rooms with shared bathrooms (all single bunks)
• 3x two to three share rooms with ensuites (double with single above)
• 1x double with ensuite (double bed)
• Doonas and pillows are provided for each bed and you need to bring 2 sheets, pillowcase and towel or you may hire linen at a cost of $10 per person for the duration of your stay.

Facilities

You can relax in the quiet lounge and watch TV or play video games. There is a sauna and TV/Video/DVD room on the same level as the bedrooms.

If you're dining-in and wish to cook, our large modern kitchen is a delight with all the mod-cons you'll need including a BBQ. It includes 2 ovens, 2 microwaves, 4x 4 burner stove tops, 2 BBQ's, 2 freezers, 2x 3 door fridges, 2 dishwashers and all the cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils you need. There is a stereo where you can play your own CD's. Alpha Ski Lodge also supplies tea, coffee, sugar, Milo, cooking oil, tomato sauce, honey, Vegemite, salt and pepper.

If you prefer to dine-out, the lodge is ideally situated to select a great restaurant, from pizzas to fine dining.

After hard days skiing there's nothing better than relaxing in our wonderful Cedar-wood sauna.

Summer

Summer at Alpha Lodge is as flexible as you want to make it. You can relax and chill out on the balcony with a cool drink while you enjoy the view, lounge around with a good book or get as active as you wish. In fact there is more to do in summer in the mountains than in the winter. Here are just a few ideas: go mountain biking with a group or a friend - take a long, leisurely hike down one of the many trails - go climbing or trekking - play tennis - fish for trout or paddle on a lake - visit one of the nearby vineyards or come for one of a number of wine or music festivals.

Alpha is like a home away from home. There is a spacious, well equipped kitchen and dining area, able to seat large groups. With three lounge areas, a large deck with tables and chairs, an undercover BBQ area and sheltered fernery, you'll have more than enough room for everyone and the Lodge has over 30 beds, so bring your friends.

Our summer prices are $28 per person per night in a bunk room, $38 per person per night in an ensuite room and $75 per family (2 adults & 2 children under 15) per night.
