Stillwell Lodge at Charlotte Pass is open all year round so if it is skiing, fishing, hiking, star gazing, photography or just relaxing in the high country, Stillwell Lodge offers something for everyone.
Facilities include fully licensed restaurant, spa & sauna, kids games room, teen room and parents escape, all with big screen TVs and DVD players.
Our rooms all have en-suite bathrooms, many are interconnecting rooms all with stunning views.
Packages include 3 course dinners in our a la carte restaurant, bed & full cooked breakfasts.
Our cafe is open daily and we fire up the BBQ on the sunny days.
Our licensed restaurant is open 7 days in winter and upon reservation in the summer. Village guests are welcome in our cafe or for dinner. Bookings are essential, BYO surcharge applies.
Winter activities of course centre on skiing and snowboarding; Charlotte Pass Village is situated on the edge of the main range and offers a perfect base for touring and cross county skiing also.
The lodge provides a selection of cross country skis and boots (free) for those keen to give it a go.
Downhill skiing is perfect for families and beginner/intermediates as the slopes remain uncrowded and lift lines are minimal.
The riding is epic with a new terrain park including table tops, rails and the Road Gap and of course more snow than any other resort, to soften the falls.
Stillwell Lodge is also absolute Ski-In / Ski-Out making your holiday easy, fun & very relaxing.
Summer activities include hiking, fishing and scenic drives.
There are local horse-riding operators, 4wd tours, wake boarding, climbing plus a host of other summer attractions and events such as the Flowing Festival, blues, jazz and country music festivals, dragon boat races and more.
Besides the world class star gazing, extraordinary photography, fantastic weather and flower explosions you might explore the engineering wonders of the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Scheme, visit the Yarrangobilly Caves and Thermal Pool (a pleasant 27 degrees year round), drop in to the Ag Barn & Fibre Centre, pop out to the Winery or Wild Brumby Distillery for a tasting & lunch or pack a picnic and head down to Geehi to experience real Man from Snowy River country.
