About Merrijig Ski Club

Merrijig boasts magnificent views of the surrounding Victorian Alps from the split level open plan lounge and dining rooms, and from most bedrooms. All this is only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Mt Buller village.

Winter

A friendly club-style lodge, Merrijig can accommodate 44 guests. Facilities include BYO bar, games room with table tennis table, billiard table, open fireplace in lounge, laundry facilities, TV and video room and a quiet room.

Summer

Merrijig is a great place for a wedding, a special party, or a business conference. There are plenty of summer activities just minutes from the lodge, including bush walking, horse riding, abseiling, gym, squash, tennis and 4WD safaris. This summer the lodge will not be staffed and will open for self-catered groups.

Activities

Mt Buller winter activities include the Yulefest Carnival, Mt Buller Cup, FIS Aerial World Cup, Christmas carnival, the Carlton Cold Abom Mogul Challenge, and the Thanksgiving carnival. Many other activities such as hot-air ballooning and white water rafting are available at nearby Mansfield in the heart of the High Country.
