The Bogong View Motor Inn is located in the "Heart of the Alpine High Country" in magnificent Bright.

Situated on the famous Delany Avenue, Bogong View Motel is just a 5 minute walk from the Town Centre of Bright. Delany Avenue is renowned for its Spring and Autumn foliage. In Autumn the Himalayan Cedars and pine oaks that line both sides of the Avenue burst in to color to provide one of the most magnificent sights imaginable.

Restaurant

Bright's newest restaurant offers more than just fine dining for the family. Providing the finest food in a relaxed atmosphere with quality service is a formula that has already brought The Grapevine Restaurant to the notice of many. During the day the restaurant transforms in to a business/corporate/ social function venue.

Restaurant hosts Tony and Sharni O'Brien are offering motel guests and the general public a great dining experience 6 days a week (Closed Thursdays) with Breakfast from 8.00am and dinner from 6.00pm daily. For motel guests a continental breakfast can be supplied to the rooms with the full breakfast available in the Restaurant.

With seating for 120 guests the restaurant is also suitable for wedding receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, conferences and other private functions.

Ski Season

Bright in Winter is the place to be, with the Mountains covered in snow as a backdrop, you can really relax and unwind in this beautiful Alpine Town. The Motel can arrange Ski Packages to suit your needs at very reasonable rates much lower than staying on the mountains. The snow resorts are all within easy driving distance of Bright. The gardens in the area look fantastic due to the fact that they bloom all year round in the cool stable climate.

We have our own 12 seater bus so we are able to take guests on tours of their choice or we have a program of tour suggestions for tours of the district. These can include wineries, regional towns, the spectacular alpine high country or specific regional attractions.
