Cascade apartments offer deluxe to budget renovated, self contained apartments on Mt BawBaw. We have an onsite office and manger to help enjoy your ski holiday. Stop in at the office upon your arrival for your entry codes and general information on the best place to ski, dine out or party. Office hours are 10.00am to 6.00pm. If you arrive outside of these times contact us to arrange entry and in an emergency you can call us on 1800 229 229.
Inside the apartments, the temperature is warm, with either hydronic heating, electric heaters, gas fires and wood fires, depending upon your apartment. Kindling may be purchased from the office or cut from the wood shed. Fire starters are supplied and more available upon request.
Cascade apartments are located opposite the day carpark, at the top of the mountain. This means that most of the time you can unload and load your car directly out the front of the apartments. Be mindful of others and once loaded move your car on so that others can load and unload.
We are a short walk to restaurants, cafes, pub, shops and a short ski to the lifts.

All bookings for Cascade are made through the Mt Baw Baw Accommodation Service.
Make sure you bring your own linen and towels; we do supply doonas, blankets and pillows. Linen hire can be arranged at an extra charge.
At time of booking we take a 50% deposit, with the balance taken automatically 1 month prior to your stay from your credit card. A receipt will be emailed when this is done. All bookings are secured via a credit card. A signed booking sheet must be returned to confirm a booking.
We strongly recommend travel insurance, as our cancellation policy is strict. We do not refund due to lack of snow. The mountain offers low snow activities in this event and you can still enjoy your stay. We will not alter dates once you are booked. Many credit cards offer travel insurance when you use them to book, check if yours does.

Inside the foyer is an internal telephone. Ask at the office for direct dial to restaurants and cafes. Why not order dinner or have a pizza delivered?
All apartments have AUSTAR, however in heavy weather this can freeze up, until it clears or stops snowing. TV reception is good, except in severe weather. All apartments have DVD players, with free DVDs available from the office.
There is a laundry on the mountain, located inside the pub foyer for the public.
Also small supermarket items can be purchased form “snow gums” located next to the pub. Try our office first.
Skis and clothing can be hired from “Ski hire” on the mountain. Ask us for help if needed.
Telstra and Optus have good mobile/internet coverage from the top of the mountain and the apartments; however you will lose coverage on the drive up.
Cascade apartments have security coded doors. Please come to the office at 3.00pm on the day you arrive for your security code to both the foyer and your apartment. Check in is 3.00pm and check out is 11.00am. It is important you leave the apartments tidy. Remove rubbish into the outside bins. Do not leave dirty plates in the sink. Otherwise you can be charged an excess cleaning fee of $200.00.
